Orders or Cases

An order, sometimes called a case, is a record representing a valuation assignment placed with an appraisal management company. At SVI, an order may involve an appraisal, broker price opinion, evaluation, inspection or review product.

Each order has a unique identifier that follows the assignment from client request through partner assignment, inspection, report submission, quality review and delivery. The record may include the property address, product type, client, assigned appraiser or broker, deadlines, fee, status and completed report.

For clients, the order number provides a reference for checking status or raising questions about an assignment. For the AMC, the order record also creates a compliance trail, documenting how the assignment was distributed, whether applicable independence requirements were followed and how long each stage took. Maintaining complete order records helps support consistent service and regulatory compliance.
