SVI’s VALIDITY Pro Updated to Deliver the GSEs’ Uniform Property Dataset

To improve the quality and consistency in property data collection, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collaborated to develop the Uniform Property Dataset (UPD). The UPD replaces each GSE’s proprietary property datasets, allowing for market standardization and fungibility. As of April 1, 2024, the UPD will be required for all new loan applications for Fannie’s Value Acceptance + Property Data and Freddie’s ACE+ PDR solutions.

Stewart Valuation Intelligence (SVI) is proud to announce that our proprietary data collection app, VALIDITY Pro, has been updated to include the new UPD and verified/accepted by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

The UPD incorporates all required, conditionally required and optional data elements for GSE property data collection. It supports full interior and exterior property data collection, including images and floor plans of the subject property.

The GSEs require property data to be collected by a trained and vetted third party. SVI’s extensive partner network meets that requirement and a distinct data collection advantage, with more than 47,000 active appraisers, brokers and agents in the field. Combined with our VALIDITY Pro inspection application, we are pleased to have the people, processes and technology to meet this important need.
