UCDP

UCDP is the Uniform Collateral Data Portal, the single system lenders use to submit appraisal report data to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before delivering a loan. The GSEs built it jointly at the direction of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, replacing separate submission processes with one point of entry.

Each submission runs through rule sets checking file structure, compliance with the Uniform Appraisal Dataset and each GSE's own appraisal requirements. The portal returns a Submission Summary Report listing findings the lender must resolve before delivery. Fannie Mae's Collateral Underwriter and Freddie Mac's Loan Collateral Advisor assess collateral risk and contribute to that feedback.

The portal currently accepts both UAD 2.6 and UAD 3.6 files. Beginning November 2, 2026, all new submissions must use UAD 3.6.
